What would you do if you had a time machine?

… I would go back in time, gather my courage, find my voice and tackle a bully head on.


Have you ever needed help but been unable to speak when you desperately needed too?  I have.

Have you ever been taken advantage of and struggled to move beyond it?  I have.

Have you ever had someone break workplace harassment policies and yet you did not make a complaint?  I have.

Throughout the journey of life we make choices that determine our self-esteem, our confidence, our perceptions and our future.  It is my goal in sharing a personal experience that it will benefit and empower someone to be more courageous than I was.  It is my belief that we can grow from others experience if we are willing too.

I learnt a long time ago that in order to grow it is necessary to step outside one’s comfort zone. As a person who craves growth and change this has led me to continually seek out opportunities to make myself uncomfortable, whether physically, emotionally or psychologically.   1. If I had a time machine, I’d go back in time and listen more … especially to my grandmothers advice. If only… Plus, I’d probably have followed my dreams instead of letting mean people destroy them.
